George W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum In Dallas TX

Since Herbert Hoover, presidential libraries have been erected in each president’s home state to house documents, artifacts, state gifts, and museum exhibits related to the preceding president’s life and career, both political and professional.

The Bush Presidential Library’s mission is to preserve and provide general access for study of President George H.W. Bush’s official documents, personal papers, and artifacts.

The Gallery Of Artifacts

This gallery showcases some of the many precious items and gifts offered by American citizens and foreign heads of state.

9/11: The Steel Of American Determination

The 9/11 terrorist attacks killed 2,977 people and altered the course of history.

In the days after the attacks, President George W. Bush led the national response, comforted a bereaved country, and demonstrated to the world the force of American resolve.

Diplomacy & Dining

Presidents have long utilized social occasions to strengthen diplomatic ties. The menus and photographs selected for this online presentation represent a wide range of diplomatic and social occasions attended by President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush.

The Bush Presidential Library and Museum in Dallas, Texas, offers visitors an in-depth look at an important time in American history, the American Presidency, and major public policy issues. In 2004, Bush was elected President of the US.

A typical visit to each exhibit will take 60-90 minutes, depending on the length of the tour. I suggest scheduling 2-3 hours to attend two exhibits. It was over a year ago. The tour may go as long as you need it to.

Centers Of Influence

The group aspires to make a difference via three impact centers: domestic excellence, global leadership, and engagement agenda. The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum is committed to developing leaders, advancing policy, and acting to solve the world’s most pressing issues. Its headquarters are in Washington, DC.

The Park

The Original Texas Park, which is accessible all year, symbolizes President and Mrs. Bush’s appreciation for the native Texas terrain. Visitors may explore Blackland Prairie, Savanna, and Cross Timbers Forest, among the natural Texas ecosystems that visitors may explore.

The Carolyn and David Miller Amphitheater, which provides a wonderful area to stop and enjoy the urban oasis in every season, is evident across the Texas landscape as the unifying element for both the structure and the park.

The 15-acre park is the ideal accompaniment to your visit to the museum.

Please bring your own device.

Visitors to the exhibition may no longer use iPod Touch devices. Visitors are encouraged to download the Bush Center app onto their own device (iTunes · Google Play) and bring headphones to participate in audio tours of the exhibit (available in English and Spanish)

Opening hours are 9 am to 5 pm. Monday thru Saturday. On Sundays, the library is open from noon to 5 pm.
