Levels & Attractions

Dallas World Aquarium features an upper and lower level. The upper level has an artificial replica of a rainforest (Orinoco). The rainforest features birds like toucans and scarlet ibis flying freely. It also has winding passages perfect for exploration. The upper level is home to the only public showcase of 3-toed sloths. Other endangered species include Antillean manatees, caecilians, electric eels, poison dart frogs, tamarins, vampire bats, and Orinoco crocodiles.

The aquarium’s lower level is home to the aquarium, which has jellyfish coral. Sea anemones, fish, and other sea creatures found globally. The aquarium features ten main tanks with aquatic life from different countries and locations. Tourists can expect to see unique aquatic life from Japan, British Columbia, Bahamas, Sri Lanka, Fiji, Australia, Solomon Islands, and Lord Howe Island. Other lower-level tanks have unique fish such as continental shelves swimming around. The aquarium has numerous tanks, among them being a large tank featuring a 12-meter (40-foot) tunnel.
