About Coventry Hills

Coventry Hills is a local neighborhood of Fort Worth and connected with Arcadia Trail North Park to the south. It is located just south of Shiver and makes it a great place to live and buy a home because of its dedicated green space.

Recreation

The Coventry Hills Park was donated to the City through a Parkland Dedication Program in 2001. The area is south of Shiver and a cement trail runs through the park connecting Ninnie Baird Park to the North and Arcadia Trail to the South. The park has alternate layers of limestone and clay, and the greenbelt has shrubs that provide a vegetative buffer, slowing flood winters in May when the rains arrive. The creek is intermittent and can be a dry creek in Summer. The park is really a prairie wetland, fitting in with the climatic zone. It contains two ponds with wetland vegetation, and turtles, butterflies, and fish live there.
