Carter Riverside is the home of Amon Carter Riverside High School that offers a famous wrestling program. In 2017 a girl called Jaqueline Bunyavong became the school’s first wrestling state champion.

History
The Fort Worth area has historical significance the area was established in 1849 as an army outpost overlooking the Trinity River. The city embraces its heritage and living in Carter Riverside would be a comfortable middle-class suburb. The city has been a center for the trade of cattle, and you can attend the cattle auctions and see the Texas Longhorn cattle, Fort Worth still embraces Western Heritage and many of the old buildings are still intact. This gives the area a frontier Western feeling, especially when you look at the beautiful architecture of the 1850s to 1900.

Culture
