Diamond Hill Neighborhood – Overview
Diamond Hill is a local neighborhood of Fort Worth Texas, it is a lovely family area and between 2000 to 2006 Fort Worth was voted one of America’s most livable communities. This is because everything, from jobs to shops schools and Universities is there. It is a place where you are never far from the mall, restaurant, parks, and theatres. If you want a holiday the International Airport is nearby.

Climate
Living in Diamond Hill you expect a humid subtropical climate in summer and cool winters, it is the sort of climate where you can cook outside all year round, making entertaining extremely easy. However, now and again expect a Tornado or some hail.
Religion
The Fort Worth area is part of the Bible Belt, making Christianity the largest religious group. So if you like to go to church or sing in a choir, there is plenty of choice of places to worship. The oldest continuously operating church in the area is the First Christian Church founded back in 1855 right at the beginning when Fort Worth was a Fort. There are also two mosques in the general area. Back at the turn of the last century in 1911 gambling and racing were very popular in the area of Fort Worth, and the Baptist Church Minister Reverend Norris launched an offensive against gambling from the pulpit to attack vice. His church was burned to the ground the following February ending a notorious era.
Geography
Diamond Hill is a high point of Fort Worth with lovely rolling sub-tropical hills. Interestingly Fort Worth contains over 1,000 natural-gas wells making it rich in natural resources a providing work for many people. In 1914 a large dam was completed on the West Fork of the Trinity River, providing water for the whole community, ‘Lake Worth’.
