Military Museum Of Fort Worth

Located in the Stockyards area, the Military Museum of Fort Worth was a concept developed by a group of people who were collectors of military history. The museum is open to the public and serves as an educational tool to educate young people about the lives and experiences of servicemen and women. A part of the collection includes items from World War I and II. Call your friends and family to visit this amazing destination at 1726 Green Oaks Road Ridgmar Mall Lower Level West Entrance between Dillard’s and Penny’s, Fort Worth, TX 76116.

The museum is staffed by volunteers. While the staff does not collect any salary, the nonprofit organization supports the museum through donations, fundraisers, and memberships. In addition, the organization provides a variety of educational programs. It also hosts events for veterans and the community.

The organization’s board of directors is made up of prominent individuals who support the cause. There are a number of veterans’ organizations in the area that are in touch with the museum. The museum is open to the public every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is free admission for children 10 and under, and $5 for adults. There are also discounts for seniors and active duty members.

Vietnam Era

The museum also tells the story of the Vietnam Era. This will allow the public to understand the life of the Vietnamese people and their culture. In addition, the museum will include stories of individual military members. Most of the artifacts at the museum come from the local area. The museum hopes to become a major military history destination in the North Texas area.

The military community has been the driving force behind the success of the museum. The organization has partnered with local organizations that organize events to celebrate the military. In fact, the organization has a monthly appreciation luncheon for former and current military members.

Partnership With Other Organizations

The museum also hopes to partner with local school districts. This is one of the ways that the organization is able to expand its hours. It also plans to offer a mobile museum format.

The organization has been able to secure sponsorship relationships with local and national veterans’ organizations. The museum is also a partner with the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. The group works with BNSF Railway to host events throughout the year. This includes the Roll Call appreciation luncheon. The organization is also a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The group holds a seat on the museum’s board of directors.

The military museum used to be in Fort Worth Stockyards, but they closed that location down on August 31, 2017. On November 11, 2018, they opened in the Northwest section of the Ridgmar Mall.

The Fort Worth Military Museum proudly opens its doors for Veterans day this year. The museum is open to the public seven days a week, so whether you’re coming in for a specific event or just to explore, you’re sure to get the most out of your visit. They are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day, but their doors will be open for you year-round.
